Orders

Processing Your Order

For standard 5-10 ground delivery orders within the US, orders will be shipped within 1 to 3 business days from when we receive it.  Expedited orders received before 12 noon PST will be shipped the same day, otherwise will be shipped the next business day.  All orders may be subject to a 1-2 day processing delay. Orders will be shipped after your payment has been processed, unless you are notified that an order is delayed due to product unavailability. You will need to ensure that we receive all the information we require, including a complete and correct delivery and billing addresses, a current email address, a daytime phone number and any additional references required for shipping purposes on checkout at our website.
If any information provided is incorrect or needs changing during the shipping process, you may be subject to additional charges or delays.

When to expect delivery

You can choose delivery options on checking out of the website which will give you an estimated shipment time. Please note that deliveries are the responsibility of the carrier, and they may be delayed due to unforeseen circumstances including, but not restricted to, weather, other natural disasters, and customs. Most of our orders require a signature on delivery and we do not deliver to PO boxes. Some addresses (eg. AK, HI, APO, FPO, DPO) may be subject to additional delays and/or charges – we are not currently shipping to international addresses.

Shipping confirmation & duties

You will receive confirmation by email of when your order has been processed and you will also receive a tracking number. Once shipping confirmation is sent to you, no changes can be made to the order. Please note that you are responsible for any duties and taxes payable against your order.

Changes and Cancellations

Changing your order

We are unable to change your order details once shipping confirmation has been sent to you. Up until that point, we shall do our best to accommodate any amendments to your order if we are contacted prior to shipping confirmation being sent. If you decide to change your order after it has shipped, you will need to pay any additional shipping charges, or, return the product(s) to us for a refund of your purchase price and sales tax, minus shipping charges. Cancelling your order

You may cancel an order without charge if it has not yet entered the shipping process. If you decide to cancel your order after it has shipped, you will need to return the product(s) to us at your cost and we will refund your purchase price and sales tax, minus shipping charges.

Returns

30-day refund

We will completely refund your order, minus shipping charges, within thirty (30) days subject to the following conditions: product must be returned unused, unopened, in the original packing with all accessories/guides provided. You will need to request a Returned Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number within those 30-days, ensure that the RMA number is clearly marked on the outside of the box, and you must include the original Sales Order to prove purchase. Email us at support@solarcomponentsllc.com to obtain an RMA number. Failure to fulfill these conditions may jeopardize a your refund. The 30-day period starts from the day you received the original delivery. We will issue a refund of your purchase price and sales tax, minus shipping charges, in the form of original payment.
You are responsible for all return shipping costs using insured parcel post, to allow for tracking. We do not accept COD. Please allow 30 working days (US Pacific Standard Time) for processing a return from when we receive it. Mark the box clearly with ‘RETURNS’ on the outside, and send to the following address:

We reserve the right to not accept a return or to refuse a refund if the product is not received in new condition per the terms listed above.

Warranty returns

The JOOS Orange has a six-month warranty, which covers all parts including the battery. We will exchange any faulty product within six (6) months from date of receipt by you except for the following conditions: evidence that the product or any of the original accessories, have been damaged, misused or altered in any way. We reserve the right to charge a nominal handling fee and to withhold return shipping costs if, after technical evaluation and/or support have been offered, a returned product is found not to be faulty. You are responsible for shipping costs to our offices at the above address. To exchange a product under warranty, you will need to request a Returned Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number by emailing to support@solarcomponentsllc.com, ensure that this number is clearly marked on the outside of the box, and you must include the original Sales Order to prove purchase. Failure to fulfill these conditions may jeopardize a full product exchange. The replacement or exchange of all products is always subject to product availability.

Faulty returns

If you believe you have received a faulty product, please contact our technical support staff by email at support@solarcomponentsllc.com. We will respond in writing within 3 working days. Conditions for returns apply as outlined in our Warranty returns policy above. If the product needs replacing, you will need to request a Returned Materials Authorization (RMA) number from us by emailing support@solarcomponentsllc.com, and return the product to us. You must ensure that the RMA number is clearly marked on the outside of the box, and you must include the original Sales Order to prove purchase. Failure to fulfill these conditions may jeopardize a full product exchange. The replacement or exchange of all products is always subject to product availability.
